Water and environmental conservation is a big deal for this Costa Rican, who loves volcanoes and music and who used to play amateur basketball back home. He has a chemical engineering background, focusing on non-ionic surfactant oxidation through ozonation. During his time with RES’EAU, he hopes to provide important findings to contribute to the delivery of safe water to small communities and general population around the world. He also seeks to develop and polish skills to confront the challenges that the future will bring. In the long run, he hopes to have been able to generate practical and affordable solutions to water problems and to transmit knowledge to new engineers and the people of the world.
