Dr. Cooper H. Langford
Dr. Cooper H. Langford has more than 30 years of experience in the chemistry of processes in water. A major area of his research interest has been the chemistry (including photodegradation) of NOM that form DBP precursors. He has also conducted research on innovation systems and the outcomes of university research. He was Associate Vice-Rector for Research at Concordia University, Director of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NSERC and Vice President of Research at the University of Calgary. Prof. Langford has four patents in the field of treatment of contaminants and has been involved in a spin-off attempt seeking to commercialize two of these patents.
