Dr. Judith Isaac-Renton
Prof. Judith Isaac-Renton is a professor of medical microbiology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UBC, and is the director of BCCDC PHMRL. Dr. Isaac-Renton was a member of the Walkerton Inquiry and also assisted in the North Battleford Report. Besides her active clinical, academic and executive career, Dr. Isaac-Renton is an avid researcher in the field of waterborne pathogens, with special interest in newly emerging pathogens and novel approaches for water quality surveillance. She is a nationally known expert in drinking water and works closely with collaborators in the field of public health.
