Okanagan Basin Water Board

Research carried out by RES’EAU has special urgency in the Okanagan, where there are approximately 100 independent water purveyors in the valley, which has a population of about 325,000. While  most of these citizens are supplied by the largest municipal systems, the vast majority of systems are small and geographically isolated, and rely on chlorination alone to protect the health of the users. The Okanagan Basin Water Board collabroates with our research teams working to reduce health risks associated with residual chlorine by-products in small drinking water systems.
