Mélanie completed her B. Sc. in Biopharmaceutical Chemistry at Université Laval in Quebec City. During her studies, she worked as undergraduate assistant for field-sampling and laboratory analysis for various projects on drinking water quality. With the objective of applying her knowledge in chemistry to environmental protection purposes, she started her masters in Winter 2016 at the Research Chair on Drinking Water of Université Laval. Her masters topic is on the characterization and the management of contaminants in hypochlorite solutions used for water chlorination in small systems.
