Research Themes

RES’EAU-WaterNET works to understand the limitations and constraints that small, rural and First Nations communities (SRCs) face, and develop technologies in such a way that they can be readily diffused and adopted into this highly specialized market.

The network’s approach is therefore about much more than traditional R&D. It involves collaborative innovation and communication to create a bench-to-tap synergy between science, industry and communities, working within the broader political, social and economic landscapes found in SRCs.
